Hi, I'm Kaitlyn Fleer, a Los Angeles–based lifestyle photographer. I got my first digital camera when I was 12 years old, and growing up watching my mom document our childhood taught me just how important it is to capture your memories. So much happens in life — we get busy, time moves fast — but photos are permanent. They preserve a moment you can go back to and relive every time you look at them. There's something amazing about that, and it's what made me fall in love with photography in the first place.

That love turned into a career after I graduated from Long Beach State with a major in Art and a minor in Photography. I learn something new with every client, and I still get excited every single time I get to work with someone new. My main priority is making sure you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera — because the experience matters just as much as the final images. When you're relaxed, it shows, and that's what creates real, genuine emotion in a photo.
